The conclusions of this article have since been challenged in another article by Adam Robert Green in ThinkAfricaPress (http://thinkafricapress.com/development/africa-rising-myth-bring-authoritarian-capitalism-instead). <br /><br />Both articles are worth a read. I would simply add on that Africa is a big place, and generalizations at a continental level need to be backed up by some serious in-depth studies on a much smaller scale.Virgil Hawkinsnoreply@blogger.com
